This was a fun show. Church Steps ripped. I think Devendra told Dwyer he was never going to speak to him (Dwyer) again at this show. Devendra did some nice finger picking. John and I thought his music was excellent, but we didn’t enjoy looking at him play, so we averted our eyes and enjoyed his set. Everyone was good and it was at an Ethiopian restaurant. Sponge bread was everywhere.
I make a guest appearance at about 4:15. The singer was slugging my friend, so I stopped him.

I made this song on a very cold day. It doesn’t sound too cold. The same song is used for a bunch of challenges for this campaign. You can achieve all of them.
I made the song that plays while he’s climbing out of the bag and the piano song during the skating at the end. The other music is blectum from blechdom.

Mass Appeal was an excellent magazine and I loved writing for them. This, I think, was my fourth interview with Slayer. I think the one I did after this was sort of bland, because I’d already asked all the questions that had been building since I was a baby.
